The Castalla City Council has developed the route in ‘Escape Route’ format “Castalla, la rondalla perduda”, inspired by Enric Valor so that visitors can discover the city in a playful way. The initiative of the Department of Tourism seeks to increase visits to the town. The Valencian company Vora Serra has been in charge of developing this tool.

The Councilor for Tourism, Maite Gimeno, explained that “through the route we propose an adventure that families and groups can do. They only need a cell phone or tablet with internet connection, without installing any App or program, at the address escapede.es“.

The Castalla route puts users, visitors and tourists in the shoes of a young Enric Valor. The writer must begin the task of collecting the Valencian rondallas to protect the future of all mankind. While the story unfolds, people will visit and learn about the heritage, history and culture of the capital of La Foia, in a pioneering initiative that takes full advantage of current technology. In this way, it allows to give entertainment options to tourists and visitors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

In this sense, the mayor of Tourism has indicated that “we intend to bring together the many resources of Castalla to get a tourist product that allows us to create a package or experience easily marketable by tour operators and agencies, with the aim of promoting visits and tourist activity”.
