Castalla approves the municipal Ordinance of Citizen Coexistence in public space
The ordinary plenary session of Castalla approved yesterday the ordinances that will regulate both the citizen’s coexistence in the municipality and the organization of urban gardens. As for the municipal ordinance that will regulate citizen coexistence in the locality, the regulations refer to road cleaning, rules of conduct in public spaces, as well as protection of Citizen Security. This ordinance was definitively approved with the votes in favor of the government team.
The councilor of the Treasury, Gema Sánchez, explained that the new coexistence ordinance details “a series of measures to improve the relationship of neighbors with the public space.” In this sense, the ordinance also specifies what are the schedules for the deposit of garbage, as well as the infractions and sanctions that entails the breach of the regulations. Sanctions that will go through the body of Suma, to facilitate and expedite this type of fines.
The regulations also establish the regulation of bets and the inappropriate use of public space for games. Likewise, the regulation of unauthorized street trade is also reflected in the ordinance, as well as activities and services that are not authorized or the consumption of alcoholic beverages. Sanchez said that “we have developed a comprehensive ordinance, which reflects those important aspects to ensure that the coexistence between our neighbors is the best possible.” The mayor has assured that a section for the control and possession of animals has also been specified. The new regulations will be published on the web.
On the other hand, yesterday, the regulatory ordinance of municipal urban gardens was also approved unanimously in the municipal plenary, with the aim of improving its organization. In this sense, the mayor of Municipal Heritage, Gema Sánchez, has said it has been regularized in such a way that people interested in the adjudication of a plot “have to present the declaration of income in order to not own assets that have the same use as urban gardens. ” Thus, all those who request the use of a plot may be penalized if, after checking the documentation, it is concluded that the person has a plot for planting.
The ordinance of urban gardens will pass a period of public exposure and from there will be published on the municipal website. Interested persons may request the City Council to obtain authorization to manage an urban garden plot.
